Week 1,Day 3,Activity 3: WWF(World Wildlife Fund)
This activity we had to answer three questions about the WWF
Questions:
1.What is the name of the animal the WWF is trying to save? Fresh Water Seals
2.What is the WWF doing to save the animals? They are making snow banks for the seals to have their babies instead of in the middle of ice.
3.What success have they had protecting the animal? The success they had was the seals are having their babies in a safe area where nothing can disturb their babies.

ReplyDeleteDid you enjoy watching the video about how the WWF volunteers are helping to save the Lake Saimaa ringed seals? Their efforts have helped the seals have a better chance to protect their young from threats, giving the baby seals a higher chance of survival!
From your previous posts you have said how much you love animals. Is there an endangered animal you would like to work to protect? I would love to work in the Coral Triangle ( the water between the countries; Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and Solomon Islands) to help save Sea Turtles.
