Reading

Today for reading and writing,we have been fixing up punctuation in a text, and if you don't think a word is the most efficient word used you can change that too.The highlighted punctuation and some words are the mistakes that I have changed from incorrect to correct punctuation.

Don't be negative!

The Purpose of this was to create a positive digital footprint but I thought to put my own twist on it and put basically my three different types of lifes on too.I also thought it would be funner for me to make ore recreate the things I do at school, home and on social media. After everything that I have learnt,I am going to leave a more efficient digital footprint cause you don't know how is tracking your every move.Stay very very safe online and don't be negative!,Spread positivity!

Image result for the life cycle of a eel

This week I have been reading an article called Pacific

Paradise it was written by Mary Campbell. It’s mostly about the water streams getting destroyed so the
eels have to swim to find different places to live. The most interesting part was this enormous eel who has been
in deep pool lurks for over fifty years and she goes hunting for
food at night. And How they spawn their eggs well they swim all the way to the Pacific ocean.

The year 7 & 8's have a soccer tournament coming up! The year seven and eight students have only just found out that our tournament is in two more weeks! I am pretty excited for this soccer tournament because this will be the first time that the year seven and eight's have entered in the soccer tournament instead of Rippa Rugby. The reason Matt choose Soccer for our sport was because there will be many more Rippa Rugby tournaments throughout the year. But I didn't really know I was on the team until my friends told me.

As we were waiting to enter the Gymnasium,I was very anxious,I was hoping
that I wouldn’t get caught on live television doing something dodgy or
embarrassing. When we were finally allowed in a few friends of mine were
analyzing the room to avoid the cameras to make sure they wouldn’t be on
television ethier. The first round of speeches weren’t the actual speeches
they were just the impromptunes. But personally,I thought that the speakers
were doing an astonishing job. There was many students from all the schools
in Kaikohe. My favorite speaking for the impromptunes was Manaaki-tia
who was talking about how a chair could be whatever you or it wants to
be.Although he was overtime he was still very inspirational and impressive
because it was just an impromptu. Then we had prepared senior speeches.
This was the section my cousin was speaking in.She was talking about
‘Maori has the potential to be realised’,But in the senior section it’s really
hard to choose who had the best prepared speeches. Our second day not
as good as the seniors were but they were still good, some of the juniors were
more confident then some seniors.

I didn’t really feel like sitting there for hours watching people talk.
But we were going back anyways. The junior impromptunes speeches
were not the greatest but they weren’t bad nor were the real speeches.
My favorite speaker was Puawai and Kahutiaterangi.Because Puawais
speech was inspirational, while Kahutiaterangi’s speech was funny.

Overall I thought that all of the days we went were excellent.
